BAYCAT Filmmaker Tyre Brown Goes to Washington, DC

BAYCAT Youth Media Producer, Tyre Brown, was selected amongst hundreds of applicants nationwide to participate in PBS Foundation’s 2011 Project VoiceScape. Matched up with Documentary Filmmaker Mentor, Thomas Allen Harris, Tyre was awarded $1,500 to finish his documentary film, “What is Jerkin?’” Celebrating this achievement and making his first trip to the East Coast, Tyre and his family attended the award ceremony in our Nation’s Capital!
